Description

Bravecto chewable tablets for dogs provide 12 weeks of protection against fleas and ticks with a single, palatable dose. The active ingredient is fluralaner, which works systemically after ingestion.
Key Product Information
  • Active Ingredient: Bravecto chewable tablets contain fluralaner, an insecticide and acaricide that inhibits the nervous system of fleas and ticks, leading to their death.
  • Efficacy: A single dose starts killing fleas within 2 hours and kills >95% within 12 hours. It offers continuous protection for up to 12 weeks against fleas and ticks. It is also effective for treating and controlling mite infestations, including those causing demodicosis and sarcoptic mange.
  • Administration: The chew is palatable and should be administered orally with food for maximum effectiveness. A whole tablet must be used within the correct weight range for the dog, and the tablets should not be broken or divided.
  • Safety: Bravecto is safe for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs, and in puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 2 kg.
  • Adverse Reactions: The most commonly observed adverse reactions are mild and transient gastrointestinal effects such as diarrhea, vomiting, inappetence, and drooling. Seizures have been reported in very rare cases in dogs with or without a history of seizures, so it should be used with caution in dogs with pre-existing epilepsy.
