Description
NexGard Spectra chewable tablets are an all-in-one monthly oral treatment for dogs that provides comprehensive protection against both external and internal parasites, including fleas, ticks, mites, heartworms, and intestinal worms. These beef-flavoured chews are highly palatable and can be given with or without food.

NexGard Spectra combines two active ingredients, afoxolaner and milbemycin oxime, to offer a broad spectrum of protection.
- Fleas & Ticks: Starts killing fleas within 30 minutes of administration and is effective against various tick species. It can be part of a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).
- Mites: Treats and controls mite infestations, including demodicosis, sarcoptic mange, and ear mites.
- Intestinal Worms: Effectively treats and controls adult roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms.
- Heartworm Prevention: Prevents heartworm disease when administered monthly.
- Oesophageal Worm: Protects against the establishment of adult Spirocerca lupi (oesophageal worms).
Administration and Dosage
The tablets are available in five sizes, dosed according to the dog’s body weight:
