Description

Dectomax (active ingredient: doramectin 1%) is a long-acting, broad-spectrum injectable parasiticide solution for cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs. It effectively treats and controls a wide range of internal and external parasites with a single dose.

Key Product Details & Uses
Dectomax works by modulating chloride ion channel activity in the nervous systems of nematodes and arthropods, causing paralysis and death of the parasites. In mammals, the active ingredient does not readily penetrate the central nervous system, which provides a wide margin of safety when used as directed.
It is used to treat and control the following parasites:
Species  Internal Parasites Controlled External Parasites Controlled
Cattle Gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms Suckling lice, mange mites, single-host ticks, screwworms, sand tampans
Sheep & Goats Gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, nasal worm larvae Sheep scab and itch mites, aids in blowfly control
Pigs Roundworms, lungworms Sarcoptic mange mites, lice
